ML Competition

AI4NICU in conjunction with the Infant Center, organized the Data-Science Challenge “Classification of Abnormal EEG Background Activity in Newborn Infants” from 1st June to 30th August 2022.

Submissions were additionally validated on unseen tests, composed of datasets acquired by different multichannel EEG devices.

The three most successful submissions out of 187 submissions were:

• Saeed Montazeri (University of Helsinki, Finland),
• Minoo Ashoori (University College Cork, Ireland), and
• Tamara Skoric (University of Novi Sad, Serbia).

The first prize will be sponsored by Cergenx company.
